Self-build opportunities highlighted in Cranleigh homes plan

Plans for development of the 44-acre site include parkland that would encourage recreation as well as self-builds.

The proposed development of a 44-acre site in Cranleigh will be discussed at a public exhibition in November.

Cranleigh Consortium Ltd, the agency representing landowners the Roberts family, is heading the Amlets Park scheme with plans to build a 200-home estate on land south of Amlets Lane.

Jonathon Harbottle, of Cranleigh Consortium Ltd, said plans for the area include parkland that would encourage recreation with natural play areas for different age groups, as well as opportunities for self-build homes.
